September 30, 2010: Cameron R. Brown and Chase L. Christmon, two fugitives recently featured on the Floyd County Most Wanted list, were taken into custody by local law enforcement.

Brown, 26, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for one count of Armed Robbery as a Class B felony and one count of Invasion of Privacy as a Class A misdemeanor. He was arrested by Officer Thad Neafus of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office. Brown is currently being held in the Floyd County Jail on a bond amount of $100,000.00 court cash/surety by order of the Floyd County Circuit Court.

In September 2007, Christmon, 22, plead guilty to Robbery and Receiving Stolen Property. He was sentenced to six years imprisonment with three years suspended as probation on the Robbery charge, and one year suspended on the Receiving Stolen Property charge. The penalties were to run concurrently as ordered by the Floyd County Circuit Court. However, a warrant was issued for Christmon in November 2009 for violating the conditions of his probation with the commission of another offense in Dubois County, Indiana.

Christmon was transferred from the Dubois County Jail by Officer Diane Heavrin and released to the custody of Floyd County Corrections.
