On Tuesday, February 18, 2014 a pretrial conference was held concerning William Clyde Gibson’s upcoming trial in which he stands accused of the murder of Stephanie Kirk. Logistics of the case were discussed in today’s pretrial conference. Jury selection is scheduled to begin on June 2, 2014 in Vanderburgh County with the trial beginning two weeks later on Monday, June 16, 2014 in Floyd County with the selected Vanderburgh County jurors. The trial is scheduled to last approximately two weeks. The defendant will be present for all future hearings, the next of which, a pretrial conference, is scheduled for March 17, 2014 at 1:15pm.
