New Albany Woman Sentenced For Murder

Floyd County, Ind. – On March 5, 2014, 32-year-old Lisa Shuler, of New Albany, Indiana, was formally sentenced in the Floyd Superior Court 3 to a term of 45 years’ incarceration in the Indiana Department of Corrections.

In May of 2013 the Floyd County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against Shuler for the murder of Charles Pierce.

Prosecuting Attorney Keith Henderson stated: “Although nothing can bring back the victim, I believe justice has been served.”
