Shelby Makowsky Pleads Guilty

On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the Floyd County Circuit Court, 18-year-old Shelby Makowsky pled guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Arson, a Class B Felony. Based on the plea agreement, Makowsky can be sentenced up to 20 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections. She will be formally sentenced at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the Floyd County Circuit Court.

    The Victim’s Assistance Coordinator provides information for victims through interactions with law enforcement, prosecutors and during court proceedings; by providing support and guidance to victims and their families; by informing victims of their rights; and by advising victims and/or their families of case developments and any upcoming trial court or hearing dates.
