Felony Drug Charge Trial Expected to Conclude Tomorrow

Jury selection began yesterday in the Floyd Superior Court 3 for Douglas Burris who is charged with several drug felonies in two separate cases. Burris is charged with a total of 4 felony drug charges, including Dealing in Methamphetamine, a level 5 felony. Prosecutor Keith Henderson originally filed the charges against Burris on May 31, 2016, and additional charges were filed in a separate case on October 20, 2016. The Trial is expected to conclude tomorrow.
