Mr. Henderson said, “I am pleased with the sentence that was handed down today. This brutal murder in our community is deserving of an 83 ½ years prison sentence. I believe that this will help to bring some measure of closure to the family of Lewis Morrison.”
Duffy was found guilty after a two-and-a-half-week jury trial of the brutal murder of the elderly veteran, and longtime resident of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Lewis Morrison. The State of Indiana was represented in the sentencing hearing by Deputy Prosecutor Jerry Jacobi.
